For anyone who was wondering why the only “nominee” was elected President of AUBG —-> He is friends with the newly elected “perfect match” Chair of the Board - CAROLYN STEFANCO! A Leader’s ‘Most Unprofessional Display’ (Please note the source, this is not Struma!) Boiling tensions between some trustees and the college’s embattled president, Carolyn J. Stefanco, are laid bare in trustees’ resignation letters made public this week. Resigning trustees found fault with Stefanco’s leadership style, strained relationship with the board, repeated clashes with faculty members, requests for additional compensation and management of the college, which they said has left it in a perilous financial situation. They called the president secretive and occupied with personal interests, and the former board chair alleged that she was targeted after she asked the president to avoid additional external commitments in order to focus on the college. www.insidehighered.com/news/2017/12/08/saint-rose-rocked-trustee-resignations-amid-disagreements-president

Today I witnessed an BOT attitude that defied anything I witnessed in my close to a dozen years at AUBG - a total and utmost disrespect for all vacuity, staff and students at AUBG! All of us waited paitently - some less so - all day long for any open session to start! Disgrace! www.lindauerglobal.com/about/bios/carolyn-stefancoThe last chair of the AUBG board jumped ship last April to join the consulting firm which was hired to find the next president for AUBG, and the next VP for development for AUBG. Now whose interests was she more keen on? AUBG's or her own? What a disgrace.
